Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American actor and producer. In 1995, she made her feature film debut with the drama independent Kids. Her later film roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The actress has also been nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best actress in a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born May 9 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother, is Afro-Cuban. Rosario was 16 when she gave birth to her birth. Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris who was her biological father. Rosario's mother, Greg Dawson, was working as a construction worker at the age of one year old. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also famous for her roles in comic adaptations of novels. The most notable are Gail in Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple (2015-2018) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC Animated Movie Universe. She also voiced Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego Batman Movie. She was the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the Mandalorian's second season in 2020 and will also be appearing in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a recurring role in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
